V13.7 is focused on Holden VY/VZ-family instrument clusters using the 8192-baud GM ALDL data line on J1962 pin 9.

Vehicle family

VY and VZ IPC

  • Holden and supported HSV variants
  • Sedan, wagon and utility configuration guidance
  • VY and VZ behaviour kept separate where confirmed
  • Bench-cluster and in-vehicle operating modes
USB ALDL

COM1–COM10+

  • Compatible 8192-baud bidirectional ALDL cable
  • J1962 pin 9 data and pin 5 signal ground
  • Windows COM port selected directly
  • Supply voltage must be checked externally
J2534

Installed 32-bit drivers

  • Application discovers installed Pass-Thru devices
  • Driver must support GM_UART_PS (0x8009)
  • Driver must accept J1962 pin 9 selection
  • Brand listing does not guarantee ALDL support

Features proven from captured VY/VZ behaviour

Identification and backupCluster ID, mapped EEPROM backup/compare, first-write baseline and restore verification.
ConfigurationSupported vehicle, SRS, fuel sender, display, shift-light, service-counter and guided legacy settings.
Diagnostics and testsDTC read/clear, live snapshots, output checks and bench trip-switch controls where supported.
Not includedNo vehicle-odometer write. The service-kilometre function is a timing-chain/service counter.
Interface reality check

Bosch, Autel and other J2534 entries can appear when their installed 32-bit driver registers with Windows. The driver still needs the non-standard GM ALDL mode; ordinary CAN/J1850 support alone is not enough.
